Finally a victory for Leslieville, Riverale and The Beach in Toronto. I’m am thrilled beyond words at the judgement made by the Ontario Municipal Board today to not permit the development of the former site of Toronto Film Studios into a 700, 000 square foot retail complex. This will help to keep the vitality of the surrounding area and help ensure the survival of the neighbourhoods small family owned business’ which give this part of Toronto such a unique feel.
